Last year Hisense made a big splash in the television industry with its 2020 lineup which included the very impressive H9G which was considered one of the best TVs of 2020. Now, fast forward to 2021 where Hisense has announced the availability of its 2021 lineup.

Hisense’s new lineup continues this trend by offering great value and even better performance and features than ever before.

Hisense has finally introduced its Dual-Cell technology in the US. Dual Cell technology uses two panels stacked together creating 40 times more contrast than a regular LCD TV. This is made possible by layering a luminance control panel behind a 4K panel to manage grayscale and color more precisely. The U9DG’s panel contains over 2 million local dimming zones and is capable of producing up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. Hisense claims this combination will give the U9DG the type of black levels seen on OLED TVs.
