HDTVs and More did not perform a hands-on review of the Samsung Q900, but instead chose to do a product profile which consists of info that is based on research conducted before writing this article and complied here in a condensed format to save you the time and effort it would take to gather the info yourself.
The end result of this product profile is to provide you with important and relevant info regarding this product.
65″ QN65Q7F & QN657C 120Hz Smart LED TVs
Samsung’s Q7 series features the entry level models of their current premium lineup of which Samsung refers to as QLED quantum dot 4K Ultra HD TV displays. Samsung claims this latest technology is an improve over last year’s quantum dot tech used in their former SUHD TVs.
65″ MU8000 120Hz Smart LED TV
Samsung’s UN65MU8000 is part of the companies mid-tier line of televisions for 2017. The MU8000 is classified as a premium model, and replaces last year’s premium SUHD KS8000 model. However, the MU8000 is not in the SUHD class which was last year’s top-tier lineup, and has been replaced with the new QLED displays.

65″ KS8500 Curved SUHD 120Hz Smart LED TV
I recently did a hands on evaluation of the Samsung 55″ UN55KS8000 and the 65″ UN65KS8500 (this review). Both of these models are part of Samsung’s 8 Series for 2016. Furthermore, both of these models are technically identical. The only true difference is in their respective physical designs – the KS8500 has a curved screen – the KS8000 has a flat screen.

SUHD HDR 120Hz Smart LED TVs
Samsung’s KS8000 is the entry level series of their latest SUHD premium 4K UHD lineup. This new 8 Series is currently available in 49″, 55″, 60″ and 65″ screen sizes. In this review I evaluated the 55″ model; however, this review can be applied to the other models as well since their only difference is screen size.
A Quick Look at Samsung’s 4K SUHD 65″ JS8500 120Hz 3D Smart LED TV
Samsung’s SUHD models are the company’s best performing premium lineup of HDTVs. When first released, the SUHD Series only consisted of curved screen models which didn’t appeal to consumers that were interested in flat panel (non-curved) designs.
A Quick Look at Samsung’s 4K UHD 55″ JU6500 60Hz (120Hz effective) Smart LED TV
The JU6500 Series resides in the middle of Samsung’s standard J Series 4K lineup. This display is available in the following screen sizes: 40″ 48″ 50″ 55″ 60″ 65″ and 75″.
Samsung 65″ JU7100 120Hz (240Hz effective) 3D Smart LED TV
Samsung’s JU7100 and JU7500 are the top tier series in their 2015 standard 4K line-up before moving to the premium SUHD series. If you are concerned about picture quality and features of the 7 series versus SUHD series, don’t fret. You will still obtain excellent picture quality and a very good feature suite with the 7 series, although it still will not match the performance and features of the SUHD series.
