Atlanta DTH recently announced its NEXTGEN TV set-top receiver has been updated and is now available at Walmart.com for $89.99 with free shipping.

ATSC 3.0 NEXTGEN TV brings more high-quality content, such as live sports events, movies, TV shows, news broadcasts, and more. It improves the TV viewing experience with higher audio and video quality, including up to 4K resolution, HDR, Dolby AC-4 Audio, and immersive audio including Dolby Atmos.

The ADTH receiver can receive ATSC 3.0 signals over the air with an antenna connected to the set-top box receiver, or from the internet via an Ethernet connection where available.

Continuous software updates have enhanced the device’s utility and ease of use, according to ADTH. The receiver’s on-screen display has been updated with a number pad to make it easier to tune to specific channels and a bookmarking function to save favorite channels.

Other recent updates have sped up channel changing, an improved electronic program guide, and addressed market-specific issues reported by broadcasters. Future updates will allow users to add channels, improve reception sensitivity, and personalize closed-captioning settings.

ADTH will also be adding a recording function, which is currently available in “beta” mode.
